Add/Remove Windows Components

To show expand the list of applications, after installation, we can remove from Windows XP. To do this navigate to C:\WINDOWS\inf and open sysoc.inf file. Under Windows XP Prof Edition RC1, this file resemble the following by default:

The entries include the text hide or HIDE will not showup in Add/Remove Windows Components. It's default. Fixing this, do a global search and replace for, hide & change each instance of this with , (a comma). We save the file, relaunch Add/Remove Windows Components, and the installed applications to your heart's content.
